Warins build looks good too.

But i run this at the moment:

its a very sustain build. i have no problems yet. seismic slam with the stun grants u a good cc. When under 20% life u cant spam it to kill even champs with permastun. but its not a build for bosses^^

I am playing it with more Super Powers.

Going trough Act 3 Hell difficulty pretty easily. (1Handed+Shield with a 300 Dps weapon).

I love my Super-Powers xD

This is what I used for most of Hell difficulty, using the best 2h axe/mace I could find at any given moment. Ran with crit damage and str/vit focused stats, although now I've been stacking resists to try and boost survivability (I still die to molten enemies in seconds).

Note that I very rarely was solo, but you could tweak it a bit to have some more self healing. Monk heals were more than sufficient most of the time for me.

You can substitute whatever variant of cleave/frenzy you like, if you want to. I switched it up a lot myself.

The build is very mobile and allows you to do good damage while staying at arm's length from enemies that can and will destroy you in less than a second. It does HEAVY damage with seismic slam, furious charge obliterates big packs with impunity, and leap/stomp keeps you out of trouble with those pesky elite packs. I like the enhanced damage of the final seismic slam rune, but it's awkward to hit with and you lose some knockback which can be a lifesaver against some of the really bad champions. So I'm still not decided on what rune to use. The stun one is nice too but it's my primary damage skill so I'd prefer to have SOME kind of damage boost.

But yeah, I'm still not done act 4 and I'm only now starting to have trouble. I mean, with my new mace I crit entire groups for 70k, but I can't heal myself and monk healing can't be counted upon anymore. If anything I rely more on a monk TANKING which is a bit embarassing. That said I'm usually the last member of my group to go down to a nasty pack of enemies. Thinking of going with a revenge/earthquake build next.

This is what I use. Currently Act III, usually run with a monk and demon hunter.

I use a 2h, but frankly I've been looking for decent shield. The premise of this build is a lot of stun, with a lot of a.o.e, with a little survivability thrown in. Only problem is lack of mobility, this build is very static and revolves around solid support dps.

Having said that, it's been very effective thus far and we've been smashing content (considering the amount of time we invest)

Basically, you run in stun stomp and the creeps gather round and then you stam a.o.e. Slice and dice with cleave and get as many vengeance off as possible to help sustain your life. Mountain's call on earthquake, don't be afraid to use it.

P.S: ....This is primarily a mob, non-boss build.

Just finished diablo on hell. The party? 3 Barbarians.

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WRYgkP!bXa!YYZYbY

This is a tanking spec, I was the only one in the party to use a sword and shield tanking spec. Troughout hell you should be looking for vitality, resists, and health per sec. The last one is crucial, and you'll get a ton from the inspiring presence passive.

By the end of hell I had 43000 life, 65% damage reduction from armor, another 27-30% damage reduction from resistances, and regenerate over 1000 life per sec. I only died when I was cc'd for absurdly long, or when diablo shadow cloned my high dps friends who @*@*d the !@#$ out of me.

Ground stomp with the clump up is amazing, works on everything except belial, and interrupts casting. We ran through most of hell with 3 barbs and a wizard, and roflstomped it by chaining this skill, followed by me using ignore pain with mob rule and then repeating. If a dps got low, they used ignore pain with ignorance is bliss and wrath.

It will take FOREVER to kill anything with this build, but your party will love you and be able to play much more aggresively as a result.

But, in order to play a barb in those difficulties at all you NEED to be able to dodge random properties. If it has frozen and arcane, note how long it's been since it's last freeze and make sure you have enough time to dodge lasers before then. Desecrate means you need to move every 5-10 seconds a bit. Play intelligently and save health orbs for when you need them (Pound of flesh is %^-*!@# amazing with a big health pool). If you can't avoid the bad most of the time, you'll never have a chance.

Great advice and nice looking build. I suspect you've got quite superior gear to me, judging from those values you presented. I'm curious how I'd survive using your build.

I've been doing quite well myself with:

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WcXVkR!beU!aZacbY

It's amazing how long I manage to hang on thanks to relentless and revenge. A lot of fights I'm practically dancing around in the red for most of it. So my biggest concern is if I switch to your build will I lose that ability to "hang on" when it's looking grim.
