Last time I saw this it was capped, but it's been expanded :D
Region in Aus/NZ: Sydney NSW ISP Name: Telstra Bigpond Connection Type: Cable Latency Range in game: 180 - 2500 Average Latency: 220 Tonight, for example, my latency has been mostly fine - except every few minutes (+-5 or so) it spikes up for around 30 seconds to 1500, then settles down. My flatmate is on wow at the same time, no issues. |

Region in Aus/NZ: Melbourne, Victoria Same issue here. Massive lag spikes since Wednesday. ISP Name: TPG Connection type: ADSL 2+ Latency range in game: 215-4500 Average latency: hovers around 200-300 most of the time but near a spike it's 1k plus. |

ISP Name: TPG Connection Type: ADSL 2+ Latency Range in game: 200-2100 Average Latency: 250 The spikes only started happening since 1.0.3. Game would freeze for 15 seconds then it would fast forward to catchup. Someone on the whirlpool forum are saying its packet loss between us and XO Communications in the US ... but no idea if this is the case. |

This thread is a waste of time .
Its been a month since this was started and still no comment. Think it was started just to make people think they will do something about it. |

ISP Name: TPG Connection Type: ADSL 2+ Latency Range in game: 250-2000+ Average Latency: this is difficult to say as it seems to be getting worse. I will get good stretches lasting up to 5 minutes of 300-500 ping, then lag spikes lasting up to half a minute. Most of the time I can play for a couple minutes, then get a spike which will dissipate or disconnect me. I get disconnected about twice an hour. |

Region in Aus/NZ: WA Still pretty much the same as before, although been getting 250's during quiet periods, seems the amount of server traffic at the time really makes a massive difference. I think you guys may need more / better servers at the very least. |

I have 2 plans on 2 difference places in Melbourne.
Region in Aus/NZ: Melbourne, Victoria ISP Name: Optus Connection Type: Cable Latency Range in game: 220-950ms Average Latency: 330ms around 900ms is only for couple of secs, then it goes back to 330 ISP Name: Optus Connection Type: Cable (with premium speed) Latency Range in game: 180-950ms Average Latency: 220ms (sometime it stays around 300) same thing happens as above, it rarely goes up to 900. But when it does, it only stays for couple of secs then it goes back to average. |

Connection Type: ADSL2+ Latency Range in game: 300-2000 Average Latency: 1000+ very occasionally, i will get maybe 5-10 seconds without serious latency issues, but for the most part, my latency goes up and down like a roller coaster...first noticed this saturday 23/06/12. given the number of aus/nz players, would an australian based server not be a good idea? i know, big cost involved in that, setup time, etc. but at this rate, a LOT of customers (including me) are going to get fed up with this and stop playing...

ISP Name: TPG Connection Type: ADSL 2+ Latency Range in Game: 280 - 500ms Average: 350ms After the new patch, it seems there is lag spike from time to time. Any update from Blizzard to resolve the lag? even a small tiny update would make our AU/NZ community happy. |

Region in Aus/NZ: Melbourne
ISP Name: TPG Connection Type: i.e ADSL 2+ Latency Range in game: 200- 500 Average Latency: 250 My biggest issue is rubber-banding and random disconnects. My latency rarely changes from 250ms but sometimes I'll get booted from the game every 30 min, which of course clears my map, and my NV buff. The rubber banding makes it almost impossible to fight elites in inferno. I'll tempest rush or just run out of plague or desecration only to find my self back where i was standing 1 second ago... |
