Game and PC Crash During Play

I've been having issues with the game crashing during play. It doesn't appear to be based on time as sometimes it happens after 15-20 minutes and other times it is after 1.5 hours of play. Also, I've checked the temps inside my system and am showing no real issues. I checked the list of "unsupported video cards" and mine wasn't on that list, Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT. Plus, my drivers are all up-to-date. I have played around with the in-game video settings too and it doesn't seem to matter. I am not exactly sure if there is any other information I can describe about the issue or my speculations, but if so let me know. Ultimately, I suspect something might be up with my system, but I'd like to rule out possibilities.
