DIABLO 3 Is there racial discrimination

I am from Hong Kong, and i am here to talk about the ASIA server. I REQUIRE AN OFFICIAL RESPONSE.

According to the official saying, the Asia server is mainly for players form Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, and I AM ONE OF THE PLAYERS FORM HONG KONG, which means that i should have the rights to access the Asia server as other players can.

But what i observed is that people from Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao are unfairly treated in this server. The time needed for players with these 3 places' IP to queue for entering a game is MUCH MUCH LONGER than players with Korean IP. Also, players with these three places' IP are frequently kicked out of the game while players with Korean IP do not have this problem.

Talking without evidence is kind of stupid. So, some Taiwanese players did some simple "experiments" to reveal these unfair matters. They tried to use some software to somehow change their Taiwanese IP to Korean IP, and ridiculous things happened.

They first tried to log in using Taiwanese IP, their original IP. It takes about an hour for them to finish queuing and enter the game on average. And then they changed their IP to Korean IP. Guess what, two minutes, or even less. Do not blame it as a coincidence, my dearest Korean Blizzard, we tried thousands of times, and the same thing still happened.

What's more, here is my friend's own experience, and i was watching this happened. So my friend entered a public game at around 17:00 (16:00 in Korea), there were two players with Korean names. He played normally, but suddenly, he was disconnected, so we went to the forum (A Taiwanese forum) and see what's happened. All the people said they were disconnected too, so we thought the server may be under maintenance. It's fine, we understand that. BUT, when we logged in again, the two Korean players were still playing, just like nothing happened!

I am not a racialist. I am not against Korea. BUT, THIS MAKES ME WONDER, that are you, Korean Blizzard, blocking our IP and limiting the number of non-Korean players? I do hope I am mistaken, but with these evidences, I cannot help but suspect.

Please give us a official response. This is a ASIA SERVER, we, as the players form Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao, it is no doubt that we have the rights to access and enjoy the server entirely, and fairly. Thank you.

tl:DR
Blizzard has very little to do with decision on server upkeep. Send an email to activison threatening to sue for 1 million dollars.

tl:DR for you OP
You are leaving complaints in the wrong place to the wrong people. As a euro, I know what it is to feel like US is getting preferential service, however.

Read your message a bit more...

Depending on your region you are going to be delegated to different host servers. Koreans are big in the gaming industry and I know they would not allow !@#$ty servers when they're essentially regarded as the masters of e-sport. Again, find out who you most local server provider is and threaten them.

Im not saying blizzard is blameless but they're not omnipotent, it's a company like any other and if reallife/work have tought me one thing it is that 95% of the population are amateurs at what they do.

This.

I'm from a small state in the US far from what I would think the server hosting locations are and I have the same problems. I have pretty fast net speed, but constantly run with lag or disconnects while on D3. I have tried the other regions servers and find I actually ran the best with the Asian servers.

@OP
It might just be a coincidence, perhaps a region of servers in ur area had issues?

1. Yes, different computers get different wait times based on their region, because on average more koreans will log on, and therefore their server has to be a bit bigger.
2. This is not the correct forum to post this thread in.
3. This is not RACIAL discrimination, this is LOCATIONAL discrimination. You had me thinking this thread would be a lot funnier to read.

Locational discrimination? Lol, Korean government banned RMAH, so they have to have it disable for their customers( Koreans ), and made it exclusively for Koreans.. in truth, they have screwed up server with RMAH turned off. Now, some folks in Asia think Koreans have exclusive right to play D3 and throw all tantalum and some even call them a racist. /facepalm

If OP wants some explanations, you have to take it to Korean parliament.
