Hey guys i been trying to figure this for 2 hours
i want to increase my damage, and i know the best way to do it its by changing my weapon
This is killing me

Right now im wielding a 690 dps bow with a 40% increased damage crit rune +200 dex
Do you think if i spend like 1m to get a 950-1000 dps bow with no dex ,maybe some attackspeed, will increase my damage a lot?

Im wondering the same, dont want buy a weapon, with more dps, and show less DPS once i equip it.

yeah sadly we cant equip it with out spending the 1m xD

As a simple rule:
Highest dps will almost always rule.
At most damage values 50 DPS is APPROXIMATELY 100 dex. (soupgrading 200dps and ropping 200 dex is a good deal)
Crit damage on bows is really good... but again, 50 will equate roughly to 125 dex (speculation, depends a lot on gear)
stack dex on gear
damage on bow
since most of your damage calculation heavily depends on the bows damage not its stats.

Try google damage calculator for diablo 3, if that doesn't help, I may consider making a spreadsheet for ya'll in the near future. (i currently use my own to see how items on the ah will affect me)
