Templar Inspire skill doesn't work on Monk

I have a monk and templar follower and i have noticed thar the Templar Inspire skill that regen 12% spirit / sec on Monk doesn't work and doesn't add your charater detail too.

Try it with 0 spirit regen and you see it. Your sprit doesnt regenerate.

I think is a bug.

Tell me if anyone noticed to.

Read the skill again. It does mana per second, it does other stuff per second, but it increases your spirit gains by 12%, it doesn't give you 12% of your max spirit every second. You use your basic attack 4 times, that'd normally give you 24 spirit. With the templar skill, you'll get 27 instead. 0 spirit regen x 1.12 = still 0.

I have noticed this too. Maybe its faster regen when you are attacking and not passive? That is why the other ability is much better.

I believe it is bugged. If it suppose to increase passive regen, which is 0 by default, then it is still not working. Obviously 0x1.12 = 0, but if you take Chant of Resonance, your regen still doesn't increase. If it's suppose to increase you active regen, it's not working either. I've checked my gains with spirit generator attacks and it's the same as when I don't have templar following. This needs to be looked into.

Increase resource generation for all allies that the Templar is following.
Mana: 2 per second.
Arcane Power: 0.5 per second.
Hatred: 1 per second.
Fury: 8% generated.
Spirit: 12% generated.

I am noticing the same issue. I have 3.02/sec passive spirit regen from items, and inspire does not affect this. Is it working as intended that it only increases spirit regen from active abilities?
I would really appreciate having this clarified.

Is there any update on if this works or not?

I think it wasn't clear because after Czernobog replied people kept replying with different things but his comment, which is the second one in this thread, is still correct.

But in case what he said is just confusing he basically said that for characters who's resources regenerate per second naturally the templar increased their regen rate per second, for characters who generate their energy per attack that's how his Inspire skill works on them (it increases their spirit/fury generation per attack).

So, for instance, if you use Inspire on a monk or a barb your spirit/fury generates #% per hit depending on what your rate is already. (Your main attack generates 6 spirit per attack without runes. 12% of 6 is .5 I believe, so you get .5 (or one) more spirit with each attack.)

Hope this helps!
