You are not telling us many things:

1) So you replaced the old card right? Did you plug in the PCI-E 6-pin power plugs to it if it has them?

2) Did you uninstall the old graphics drivers and then install new ones?

Alright !!! Since your the first one to anwser me i'll give you the full details .

Day 1 of diablo 3
I was using a Nvidia 8800 Gtx video card .
Since probably evry one knows that darng type of video card always had heat issue
so i bought a Zulman fan to fix to it , it did well until i play d3 .
But with this d3 this video card was totaly useless .
So i set all my video setting to low/off/off/low/uncheck anti-a/check low-fx .
I resolved the issue for a short time until i decide to play 8 hours in a row and then the Graph card overheat again .
2 days ago , i went to the store and bought a new harddrive , windows vista & AMD Raedeon HD7700 Series .
I'm used to change components in PC so im pretty sure evrything is well plug-in .
-Yes i did all update on drivers
So here i am after all update & evrything installing d3 .
Once that is done , i whent and tryd this new toy .
evrything whent smooth .
after few hours of playing i realise my graphique setting are still set to low quality .
Wierd cause... technically i'm actualy on a new Pc .
Normaly when you instal a game the graphique goes to standard , but not this time it seems to have kept my old setting and whontt change back .

Hmm, so you're saying that the graphics settings won't stick? if you set them to high they go back to low? make sure you hit apply before hitting accept so that it will be applied, otherwise it won't stick and will stay at the old settings. That's my best guess anyway.

You mention you replaced some hardware. I know you mentioned that you've replaced hardware before, and please forgive the silly question, but...can your Power Supply support the new graphics card's requirements?

Good question , i have'nt tried any other game yet .
i'll instal Sc2 and see the result

Alright , i instal sc2 without any issue .
I also was abole to play the game in Ultra resolution without any lag spike or what so ever .

So the probleme ain't my graph card .
Now i'm realy clueless on what to do -.-

Made a new thread in technical support to follow

No, it deletes only a single file, which contains D3 configuration. This will be remade fresh when D3 launches next time

Just to make sure, you did uninstall old nVidia drivers right?

Re-post that text file after you change the settings inside D3 to what you wanted, apply then exit.

You wanted the resolution to stick to 1680x1050?

like i said earlier , i changed my harddrive so basicly its a new computer , no ?

Not necessarily. According to the settings text, you are getting what you are supposed to be getting.

That might be a problem.

Set the CCC 3D settings to default and check out D3.
