Every time i run a scan on my computer the only thing it ever finds (if anything) are 1-2 "tracking cookies". what are those exactly?

Well if you listen to the conspiracy theorists on these forums, it's a breach in Blizzard security that allows hackers to access your diablo 3 account with a real time hack by hijacking your play session and stealing all your gear, and is a serious problem that is Blizzard's responsibility to fix.

However the people that aren't complete and total idiots will know that a tracking cookie is a more or less harmless piece of code put onto your computer to track and send information to companies on which web sites you visit.

Use Firefox and Ccleaner.

Google them first and learn what they are and why they are a good idea!

Just about every computer online that goes on website will have tracking cookies. its a way they keep track of where you visit and make sites load faster on the internet.

It helps certain sites track your browsing habits. That said, they don't necessarily know who you are.

Cookies make the internet work, that's all the detail you need.
