Given that farming in Diablo 3 has shifted from the model of Diablo 2, away from boss runs and towards just running through areas, it seems like there are far too few randomized events. Each act only has a handful. You see them all very, very quickly, and the fact that a handful of the handful happen to be slightly rarer does not make up for this. Act 4 doesn't seem to have any, when it seems like there is the most potential there to do something different. On top of that, a depressing number of them are extremely similar.
Each act should have far more, at least triple what there are now. The game is not terribly long, and that's fine with me as long as the randomization is sufficient, and in most cases it is, but it's *way* below par when it comes to events. I really hope that Blizzard recognizes this fact and patches some in, even though they said that they didn't plan on content patches.
