How to fix patch looping - Aussies

For all of you saying it worked, how big was your patch?
Mine's saying 2.6GB, I changed the language instead of doing this trick. Is that too big? Seems massive for a small bug fix. |

I changed the language to spanish, downloaded the 2.5gig patch.
Restarted changed the language back to south asia... what ever that is Still have the patch loop. WTF this has to be one of the most retarded games I have ever bought. |

Just tried it again and tried to play in spanish and it has the same patch loop......

Sadly it is beyond my ancient brains meager computer abilities. :(
Guess I will just have to wait the 5 hours for Blizzard to fix it. Oh wait, it's over 6 hours already lol. |

It does work. I managed to get it to work the second time.

Bravo this fixes it definitely , it seems the australian copies can be fixed taking these steps, whats more disturbing is blizzards in-accountability on this issue nor is there any response from them. At least admit it, and bring up a alert on the front page regarding the proper fix for other unfortunate player who has not yet thought of searching in these forums.

your patch works im back in the instructions are clear and simple that even an old fool like me can follow i must admit i am getting tired of not being able to just start the game and play when i want to :( great game shame the same cant be said of the providers service |

I found 1 instance of the enSG line edited it and now patched and running on one comp patching on wife's comp now.
Also found 3 instances of enSG on notebook, edited them to enUS and now patching ok

I did the fix, now waiting for a 2.6 gig download...? This sucks.
