Nether Tentacles Question

Question on the crit chance of this ability. When I shoot a Tentacle out does each damage proc have it's own chance to crit or does each tentacle make all it's proc's crit?

Each damage proc has its own crit chance. Or rather, the crit check is made when it does damage, not when it's fired.

From my own experience, it seems that the tentacle makes all procs crit. Or at least that's what it looks like when I use it after letting SS stack to 100% crit.

Usually hard to tell you would have to do a lot of testing..I think it has a chance to crit after the 1st hit on the 1st mob.

That's been my experience as well.

This is inaccurate because the Sharpshooter 100% crit buff won't actually go away until one second after the first crit has landed.

In these cases, it's actually fairly trivial to get 3 or 4 NT balls with guaranteed crit fire.

This is simple to test, and my testing indicates that the crit RNG is calculated on each individual proc. You can turn on white damage numbers in your options, which will stand out against your yellow damage crits.
