This is my pc specs:
Intel pentium dual-core E5500 2.8Ghz
4GB ram DDR3
GTX 460, 768 mb DDR5 VRAM
If I play at max settings, I'm lagging and if I play at lowest settings, I'm still lagging the same way. I have a 54.0 Mbits/s connexion. Does anyone know why I'm still lagging whatever I do?
I play Crysis at high without a lag, skyrim high without lag except the time it takes to load the environments. But it is still perfectly playable... I'm thinking to buy a new processor. I can't get in the i3-i5-i7 series because my motherboard is not compatible. So I'll get a Quad 2.9 Ghz. But if you have tips or idea to change that without spend money I'll try it. Thx
Your card is plenty good. Download MSI afterburner (or EVGA precision if you have an EVGA acccount) and watch the graphs. If your card is being maxed out maybe lower some settings. Or try overclocking the GPU with afterburner.
Also, as per my above post are you playing in windowed mode?

I tried windowed mode, but still lagging... I changed some graphic card settings with the nvidia driver to set it on max performance while it was on quality. I could try to overclock a bit while playing... but is it not dangerous and cause over heating?
Overclocking should not damage your card as long as it stays cool and your case has good airflow. I would also suggest manually setting the fan speeds if you go the overclocking route. overclockers.com hardforums.com or tomshardware.com will have some good info on what you need to do.
Windowed mode will make you lag more, which is why I asked.
