They have a pretty good arsenal after I investigated them earlier, start with these abilities:

Smoke Screen with the Movement Speed Rune
Tactical Advantage (Passive skill that give you mvt speed after using SS or vault)
You get so far away so fast that it is hard to imagine a mob that can chase you down using this + Vault with Acrobatics on it... The idea is SS->Vault->SS and by that time you are exactly 1 million miles away from wherever you previously were!
Don't listen to these guys.
Most people use something like this for a primary build:
Smoke Screen with lingering fog, vault, and prep are basically mandatory. (Personally I like acrobatics on vault because it saves disc for smoke screens, and battle scars or invigoration on prep because I don't rely on the RNG).
4th slot is optional and personally I still like caltrops (you can drop 5 in the same spot with the damage rune for a big hit and the root is still useful in later difficulties even if people say its not), but others use rain of vengeance with stampede for timer aoe knockback, bat companion for infinite hatred, or shadow power with gloom.
Only other variation is that some people use evasive fire as a primary instead of devouring arrow, but personally I'd rather have the damage/range/tracking/disc-free of devouring arrow.
