I'm also in Israel and my ISP is netvision. I can't say if the problem started for me after the patch because a couple days ago I was using a different ISP and had no problems (other then my room mates torrenting). I was dumbfounded to find out that with my new much fast internet connection diablo was unplayable.

Here is my traceroute below....
Does this mean this is the reason I LAG?!?!?

Blizzard PLEASE HELP!!! i am very disapointed in this latency issue. This are my symptoms:

1. I get network lag (after 1 minute or so), by having all my mobs and people i play freeze and disappear. I can move around, but when i move far enough the level stopped loading.

2. My friend with me said im casting spells still...when i do them on my side, but i DONT see that on my side i just see what i described in 1 above.

3. I can still type and chat in the general chats of the game....

4. After 5 min or so the game kicks me out......

WHAT DO I DO BLIZZARD?

My setup is ALL WIRED.

1. Cable modem is hooked up
2. router is hooked up to JUST my computer
3. Router is hooked up to my PC wired

I TRIED just my cable modem directly to my PC.

I DONT LAG IN ANY OTHER GAME!!!

Please advise!!!!

My situation is similar but kinda weird. Whenever I get a lag spike, my partner can still see me spamming spells, while I'm stuck with 5-8 seconds long freezes. I have no issues whatsoever with WoW, Starcraft 2 and League of Legends and I'm quite pissed :\

Me too. Only Diablo has problems having high latencies right now. My other online games are all working fine. It's so sad cause Diablo's become my favorite game but i couldn't play it well anymore. :(

i just started lagging last night/this morning. it happens very abruptly. im going along fine, in the green, then BAM, im down to red (~1.3K ms lag) and the game is unplayable since u kinda need your spells to cast when U CAST THEM, not when the server decides to pick up the request and then take it sweet ol time getting it done. this issue needs fixed now.

350ms for me on east coast.

Current latency ranges from 300-2000ms. i really want to enjoy the game already. Some of my friends already surpassed me within half a week just because i couldn't play well.

Latency was always < 110 for me until patch 102b. Now I see numbers as high as 400's. Plenty of time to mouse over and see it when I can't walk. The game is unplayable like this.

I never considered myself a quitter, but it is nearing refund time bliz... time for some action, at least a chunk of blue text in here.

When i started playing this game my latency would be at around 98, but since yesterday i started getting latency of 700-3000. I checked my internet and my router and everything is working right.

I just want to play... Y u no let me play, Blizzard?! It's annoying because we're all real-world people with jobs, relationships, and lives. By not being able to play today, it might be another week or so before I actually have the time to sit down and play again. I just gave you 60 of my hard earned dollars so that I could relax and enjoy a few hours of Diablo. Now it looks like you get to keep my money and I don't get to play your game. *sigh*

Also, Blizzard, you wouldn't have so many of your customers raging and freaking out at you if you responded and showed that you were aware/working on/cared about our problems. However, having said that, I know that Blizzard is a company and different things are run/managed by different people. I know the blues have rules about what they can respond to and what they're allowed to say, so I can't just stomp and shout on a forum and expect it to be fixed/noticed/addressed. But I wish I could...

UPDATE: I blame the Koreans. It might literally be their fault or it may not. I dunno. But I heard they had there servers shut down for cheating and so I can only rationalize that they're retaliating. Ya know, the whole "if we can't have it, no one can" thing.

Ping - 120ms.

120ms and my $4000 laptop looks like a $200 Best Buy special trying to run Diablo 3. It's not the laptop, since it averages 75fps in game when I am stuttering and jerking. It's the awful lag.

It's not my ISP either, because this laptop plays all the newest games at max graphics, online with no problems whatsoever. BF3, Tera, GW2 beta - all play just fine. Start up Diablo 3? LAG.

!@#$%^- right it's not client side. Last 2 days I get disconnected from game because the pings skyrocketed to 1000's. AND I'M PLAYING SINGLE PLAYER GAME HERE. *!@#ING WAKE UP BLIZZARD

Even since the lag spikes yesterday evening I've had latency at 2000ms constantly. I hope they fix this with tomorrow morning's patch.

I confirm MASSIVE lag spikes between my home desk computer (Digital Storm) that is wired and my work office computer (Digital Storm) that is wireless. Massive latency spikes, from sub 200ms to over 2500ms.

How I ever made it through Inferno Act 1, I don't know. Most times, as of today, I'm dead and it takes 5-10 seconds to confirm it. That, or I get error 3007 saying I've dc'ed, etc.

I dealt with this during the early WOTLK WoW days, but I expected that. I never really expected that during D3, especially since I chose Diablo because it wasn't meant to be an unplayable MMO. We have much of the problems of WOW, but few of the benefits they receive (for starters, a reasonable and decent AH; this AH system is horrible).

I do expect a solid patch tomorrow, as the game is unplayable in its current form. At least in WOW I could dump out of raids and PVP, level alts, craft, explore, or even veg out. Diablo doesn't afford that sort of 'relaxed' play, so any latency is game killing. I wouldn't even start a Hardcore character until we know these issues are resolved (which I anticipate they will be). It's just sad to see my barbarian trotting along, ok latency, then BAM! treasure gob or champ pack and I'm dead on site.

Here's to hopping it works, because I have Verizon at home and Comcast at work and NEITHER function properly.

i think its beacuse the patch

blizz what are you guys doing i cant even do one quest with out laggin. im about ready to give up on this game ..
