What is your power supply? How many watts?

Also, is your computer case standard fat mid-tower?

Msinfo32
Go to your start menu and hit type msinfo32 in the search box at the bottom. Then once it is open - File - Export - Save as a text file to desktop and post here.

The power supply will only be listed inside the machine. If you bought a complete computer such as a dell. You can search the model # and find the power supply wattage most likely.

No point in upgrading prebuilts really. We don't know how many watts your PSU is or if you have a free PCI slot.

You have 460W, but since it's no-name, best I can recommend is maybe Radeon HD 6850, probably safe with Radeon HD 6770.

Yes, that would be one such example. You can probably push for Radeon HD 6850 if you feel brave enough (ensure it comes with a PCI-E - to - molex plug).

sorry for all these noob questions why would it be a risk to choose 6850 over 6770 will the 6850 not be compatible for my computer?

6850 requires more power than the 6770, and Dells and HPs generally use really crappy power supplies that might not be able to give them proper juice.

6770 is going to work for sure. 6850? Probably will, but might not.

6770 should handle D3 well at high settings
