Ok here is what Im trying to figure out. Does Tyreal get his wings back and become an angel again or is he the embodiment of wisdom as a human, lives in Heaven then dies in 30-50 years?

Says he was taking his place again, but as a mortal, so I would think he wont be getting his wings, has he wont really be an angel again, but will keep on living in heavens and act has if and be recognized as one of the most powerfull "angel".
There is probably a book somewhere about it, tough. |

Yea i figure they would clear things up in the expansion. I just kind think tyreal sucks without his wings. He wasnt that bad !@# this game besides beating imperious, but then he became human and didnt really help much. I dont really like the ending. i think it would have been amazing when he reached the top of the steps he got new wings and became the new angel of wisdom. Right now its like... ok cool new embodiment of wisdom, but... he will die eventually, thus leaving the position of archangel of widsom open, where as a new archangel of wisdom would emerge from the arch. And if that plot line is followed, why hasn't a new archangel of Justice emerged. also Mathael still lives, wandering pandemonium, so i guess tyreal is the interim archangel of wisdom, but then he will die and its back to square one, except with no archangel of wisdom or justice. It just creates a giant plot hold that i assume will be answered in the expansion. I was just super disappointed when they didnt have an amazing cinematic of him getting his wings back, and becoming the tyreal we know and love.

Perhaps I'm reading too much into this, but it sounded to me like the High Heavens were an immortal realm. So maybe Tyrael will stay a mortal (I won't say human cause he doesn't seem to really be that either) in his perspective and lack of wings, but won't actually die?
That's the version of events I personally prefer... |

nephalem are not human, they are the children of demons and angels...demi-gods...

more of, he won't age, but will die if some one stab him like diablo did to imperius(which did not die since he is not mortal) |

That's an interesting thought... I hadn't thought of it like that, but it does work too.
Another good point. Though I will note that technically humans are watered down Nephalem. Granted that may be splitting hairs a little, but to me it indicates that they're more or less the same idea. The power difference, to me, is what makes Nephalem demigod-like. |
