Kind of hard to believe since every mini patch and server restart has had changes to drop rates and gold of some kind leading up to RMAH. Even a monkey would know a reward system isnt paying out when they go through the motions. We are grinding for hours and hours playing the same 3.5 acts and we are well aware when what we get in return drops to 25% of what it used to be. I am not one who used these vases, or chests, or whatever free ride options where out there, I am just playing the game as intended and I am being rewarded less and less as time goes on. Explain it away any way you like. I am getting level 52 items with 120 damage in act 2 of inferno. No explanation necessary there.

i noticed that champ and elite packs do not heal to full HP anymore when you die to them...
was this a fix? i hope someone can confirm this |

I guess make that 3:Millions, as I have not noticed anything different and actually found 2 upgrades for current gear I am using on top of the AH gear. I also know that several of my clan members are getting good stuff as well, so 30:millions? Maybe the qqers are the only people posting on the threads, as I know I have not posted a thread saying that drops have not changed! |

My god given right to complain and give feed back to fix this joke you love so much. You're not posting positive feedback... I have... multiples times since I purchased this game. If you truly wish to help, stop insulting and add ways to improve the Diablo 3 experience. If not.. please contact customer support and ask for a refund. You're better off with the $60 in your pocket, instead of all this misplaced hatred. |

Man, this must be MY lucky day. Just got a lvl 60 rare xbow with 1,000,000 dps in Act1. Anyone interested?
In reply to @Cephus "combinatorics" post. Loot drops are never completely random. You will never see a 1,000,000 dps xbow no matter how many times you roll the dice.

I used to loot like 12- 20 rare item farming the A1Q9 (butcher run) and like 1 or 2 day after while i was doing the SAME run i looted an average of like 8-10 rare max and i dont talk about the level of this rare (47-57 and 60 if your lucky).
ppl say its a game based on luck but i talk about an average of 20 run its realy easy to see the difference dont think we r stupid like this. More thread i read more i hate this game!!! |

I have been progressing with my wizard through the game from Normal to Hell act 3 so far in the past 10 days. I have not gotten even one rare from act bosses. NOT ONE how the hell is that supposed to work. I have gotten rares but usually from just plain mobs and only blues from act bosses. Please fix this.

You get rares the first time you kill a boss on normal. That changes again when you get to level 60 and get the "Nephalim Valor" buff that allows you to get rares from bosses again. It's designed to give you a reason to do something other than just farm a boss all day to level. |

its not the rates that are crap. its the value of the crap. I just did 3 siegebreaker runs, more than half of the rares I got were below lv 60 |

Lylirra, any comment on drop rates? Could you be more specific? In addition to drop rates, the MF and NV mechanics affect the "quality" of items that drop. I'm assuming when you say drop rate you are implying the % chance a drop occurs. Not the % chance a yellow or orange drop occurs. Therefore, MF and NV affect the % chance that a drop is modified (improved from a white/blue to a yellow/orange). I just want to ensure that when you say drop rates were not changed, that your also letting us know that absolutely no tinkering occurred with the mechanics of MF/NV. On the upside, thanks for the effort you have been putting in lately on reading threads and responding to players. I've noticed it, same as the uptick in time B/Z spend in the D3 forums. Cheers, Nico

A couple days ago I got a 850 dps 2h with 150 str and a socket and some 200+ dex boots from a butcher run.
Both rare with additional stats. That's about as good as it gets in act 1. In the same run I also had to sell from a full inventory twice which is pretty standard for the runs I do with 0% MF. I've never seen more than ~15 rares in a single run. Usually more like 7 or 8. Just for reference, by "butcher run" I mean the manor through the butcher. Basically getting 5 stacks of valor, killing warden/jailer guy, then killing the butcher. So yeah, good news: RNG is still Random. Also might want to note that any one of us could take our entire loot history from inferno and it wouldn't be a large enough sample size to draw any definite conclusions about drop rates, let alone over the past several days.

Sorry, but i've been dilligently farming Inferno Whimsy for 2 weeks now, and I have seen a huge change in the drops rates over the past 3-5 days. Not so much how MANY rares drop, but the QUALITY of those rares is so bad now, it makes me wonder why I'm even bothering. |
