First off, I feel there should be an Achievements Forum since General Posts get dropped to page 3 after you click post and I think there is enough interest in Achievements from people to warrant its own Forum Page.

Secondly, why were HC achievements adding to the "bling" of the base of the banner removed?

Is there any intent to bring them back along with the top being affected by PvP achievements (assuming there will be PvP achievements)

Lastly, because I don't want to create another thread and various threads on the subject have gotten vague "in a couple weeks" type responses, what's the ETA on the exclusive sigils being added to our accounts 1.03?

I agree there should be an Achievement Forum. Also what is up with all the delayed achivements? You log in in the AM and all the achievements from the night before start poping up!

Ah, it was in the latest patch notes that Achievements you'd earned that weren't showing up should now unlock.

I believe a lot of people were stuck with the Beastiary achievements where they'd killed everything but since the first couple days had some server issues they lost credit and then couldn't get it back since their achievement page showed it as unchecked but their voice log had the book.

As well unlocking the Blacksmith and leveling him was rolled back on people who already had him maxed so you had Max BS achievement but not Level 1 or 5.

Same with leveling, for the longest time I had level 30-60 achievement but not 10,20 and 30.

Of course, making a new character or leveling a character or BS on Hardcore fixed it, but many people have stuck with 1 main character and they shouldn't have to make new characters or play a different game mode to unlock something they've already done.

Hopefully they add the banner features they first had with the cool bling at the base or at the top. While still awesome, the current iteration of the banner is lacklustre in comparison.

Are there currently even enough achievements to have a whole forum about them? I don't recall seeing any that were tricky at all. A few of them are event x and I didn't know where the event was (sometimes it's random), but google solved that pretty easily.

I used to see a decent amount of achievement discussion in the Quests forum

Hey Lylirra,what happened to the ribbons that were shown at Blizzcon 2011?Why did Blizzard decide to not have them in game.They looked actually pretty decent.

If they cut out the Hardcore base, that banner is going to look really top-heavy if they didn't.

It was an awesome idea in concept, but just didn't work out well in execution. We found that, while the base accents looked really cool in some places like the character screen and other menus, they were extremely difficult to see while you were actually in game -- which kind of defeated the point. We're going to be looking at additional ways for players to customize their banners and show off their accomplishments (ideally in ways that are visible while playing).

Unfortunately, I don't have any updates to share right now. I'll see if there's any further information I can glean today for you, though.

IMO, some other things you can do to customize your banner is add a head to the staff and customize the actual staff itself, being able to choose from side banners, a metal, fire, ice type of staff for the banner, maybe a gargoyle for the head ornament.

Im 100% down for a Achievements Forum, great idea.

Agreed. Anything other than the full sized sigil / accent look nothing more than a blurry smudge in game (char selection screen is ok).

Wow, my first blue response, thank you very much for responding, it's very encouraging for me and others to continue providing feedback to help you guys make this game the best it can be.

Unlike theories going around the forums that this game is tanking, I think it's wonderful and just needs some tweaks here and there.

I'll be waiting with bated breath. I'm sure many will think me silly, but I'm a completionist at heart, and the fact that I didn't win the Beta lottery for the Chosen FoS already drives me insane inside. Missing these 5 would really hurt my nerd soul.

I think many achievement hoarders, like myself, would enjoy a like-minded place to share tactics on some of the harder to get achievements.

Sure, most are easy and just come with playing the game, but tips on pulling off the naked runs and such would definitely help, and I'm sure Blizzard will be adding more achievements once they've tackled a lot of the more pertinent technical issues.

The game is still in its infancy.

There are around 4500-5000 achievement points in total, which I think merits a forum, considering quests have their own forum and are far fewer, not to mention part of the regular gameplay and nearly unavoidable, whereas some achievements are off the beat and path.

As well, as time goes on I'm sure some people would be looking for help with Inferno Achievements if they just aren't skilled enough to do it.

As well, it wouldn't just be a place to post about achievements, but things related, like the banner/sigils, or maybe even titles down the line, who knows.

I just felt that something like this could have a home rather than bloat the general forums even further.
