Crit chance/ASPD build is viable but not with thats skills.
You'll need a good life pool, and that'll cost a weapon with Life on hit to use the max of the build. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#UXYiWS!ZdU!ZbbcZZ Thats a better one, also you can change one of than to serenity and it still a good choice. You'll need to decide to use Resolve or Sixth Sense, or One with everything. To use Sixth Sense you'll need to get max of critical chance to make that dodge bonus work, and man thats hard, its not like it really worth, i have 30% crit chance and if i use it i get less that 10% of dodge bonus , thats not a big deal at all. |

Honestly, I wouldn't go too heavy into attack speed until the patch. It could be nerfed into the ground for all we know. This is assuming you haven't stacked it yet of course.

Crit chance/ASPD build is viable but not with thats skills. Crippling wave is a good skill with high aspd, it has a nice area that can make you to cancel any hit animation of closers monsters to you, no matter how many are they, also you can have the debuffs effects of it and has critical aoe. You just have to keep in mind that you have always to get 3 stacks of Way of the hundred fists.If you pretend to go for it that's a good skill, its very helpfull. One more point of crippling wave its that if you are using life steal it works in aoe, im not sure if it work with life on hit but i guess yes.

I am aware that attack speed will be nerfed. I have invested a small portion (10%) of all my gold into attack speed items. My Monk is my alt, with a Witch Doctor main. My Monk is currently level 33 and I simply play him for fun. That being said, the fun thing I find about playing is the playstyle of getting in-your-face and attacking very fast while dodging bulle- I mean arrows. I like the matrix style fighting :) So I am theorycrafting this build. It might not be viable at all, but to be honest, when I play my Monk, I just play for fun. If it sucks on Inferno, I literally wouldn't be ashamed to just play it on hell instead :)

Aha, thats the point, im also playing with my own style, im with the fewers that dont agree to use a shield instead of 2 weapons with a class that should be must martial than anything. And i have so much fun with high aspd and too many combos. =)
Im 60 in inferno act 3, my monk is my main and my only char.
