Hello. Im interest into crafting and selling gear, i would like some advices and tips how to start, best first time investments, and later investments. Whats the best gear to start with, what would i need exc exc .....
Thanks, every advice would be great
I think streaming is the first requirement. People need to know that you aren't scamming them, at least until you have enough vouches to confirm that you play it nice.
Then you need to develop certain habits: professionalism (you know exactly how many mats are needed for multiple orders, or you provide the mats but don't charge an arm and a leg for them, etc), speed (you need to craft the item and trade it asap. People like being the first to "see" the item), and a friendliness about you that brings repeat customers. One guy (requested not to say who he is) actually gave me a free pair after my first craft wasn't great. He felt bad for taking the last of my money, and I ended up selling that freebie for almost a mill on the AH! I have since used that guy for every crafting need, which in just hte last day has been maybe 30-40 pieces of gear. So yeah, treat your customers well, and you'll see them again.
Also, to start at least, I'd try the no fee+tip route before you start charging a bit extra. You really want to develop a userbase.
Finally, you WILL have to spend a bit up front. People are only interested in 6 stat recipes, and most of those go for a couple mil. Gloves are the most expensive, but most lucrative.
