Currently on the AH you can only search +Block% on Shields and "All Armor". Since you can also only get 46 pages worth of results, it's impossible to search +Block% on individual items.
Also, when searching for Block% on shields, it should search for the total block % on the shield and not the +block. A shield with a base 10% block + 9% additional block = 19% total. When there's a +20 shield with no +block %. It makes more sense to just make the shields searchable by total block % and not the +block %. |

What a shocker. What a shocker, pointless drama from a forum goer. Personally, I like that Blizzard addresses nuances of the game since there are a lot of little things that bug me about the game that I'd like to see fixed. I'm not satisfied with the game as a whole either, like many, but I also don't sit here and act like a total douche about it. I've got a lot of play time already, if Blizzard doesn't fix the game, oh well. |

block searches are always fun, but how about offhand damage amounts also, scrolling thru 40 pages of offhands looking for good damage ranges is never fun

Would also love to see a search for DPS on weapons. When searching for "Average Damage" on a weapon the results you get from say "One handed Mace" vs "One Handed Axe" are very different, whereas if I could just plug in 1100+ DPS, I would only need one search for all one handed weapons.

There is a search for average range. I'm fairly certain there is a group of people out there whose job it is to hawk the forums for the single reason to bash any thread that a blue posts in, immediately after they post, period. It's the only explanation. |

Development logic - Quivers now searchable by attack speed - Great suggestion! I think we'll add shields too!!! Before 1.0.5 - Shield block %? What's that????? After 1.0.5 - Shield block % now searchable!! Before 1.0.6 - Mojo dmg? What's that????? - Source dmg? What's that????? After 1.0.6 I dunno, that's next year, it'll take some time to work on adding block % search

There is a search for average range. The other explanation is, they are posting in needless threads and should not be posting in them, let alone even looking at them. The lack of searching for block % is not going to make anyone leave the game, there are countless of other threads out there with issues that are. Post in them, and only post in them, or don't bother posting, or else get ready for a flame fest like we have here. |

What a shocker.I like how people assume that an entire team of devs can only work on one problem at a time. One, small changes are usually easier, taking less time and effort to implement and test. So while other people are working on other problems you can have one person do this change and make certain it doesn't mess anything else up. The testing is usually the longest portion for small changes like this. Two, many of the problems being worked on take time just to figure out what's going to be changed. And based on this forums past history of assuming that possibilities are promises, it's best not to comment on anything until they know exactly what they're going to do. |

And that is why they never post. No matter what they post in, no matter who they appease, no matter if they spend a grand total of 3 seconds making a 1-sentence reply to a user's question, no matter if they said they were come to everyone's house personally to hand-deliver them a perfectly rolled set of their choosing, these forums will ALWAYS have people who hound the blues, actively making their lives miserable if every single employee doesn't spend 100% of their time on any given poster's personal pet peeve. Blizz's using the forums for distribution of information, rather than the collecting of it, is the best decision they could ever make.
