This tends to happen if you are on a public network like college, school, work, military, etc. Ports are being blocked, preventing the file from being downloaded.

Are y'all on these types of network?

No, I am home. Before the 1.0.3.10057, there was no problem about the download.

Who is your ISP provider and where are you playing from? This may help.

Also, are you using any proxy services?

I am in college halls.

However I haven't had this problem before, and have been using this internet for weeks.

I'm located in the UK.

You should be able to resume updating the game if you download the file which is being blocked (Diablo III.tfil)

Are you sure it's the same error message? Can you post the full error or a screenshot?

I had the same problem with the last patch - I just realized that I caused my issue.

If you look at the .agent file in the installation directory for D3 (this may be hidden - so un-hide { edit with notepad but DO NOT DELETE } ).

I noticed, "torrent_file_path" : "Diablo III.tfil". I have an access restriction on my router that prohibits peer-to-peer clients and has an explicit deny for "torrent". I disabled this policy and the update ran without issues.
