Diablo® III

Diablo 3 , Error 3

I am having trouble logging in to diablo 3 but not battle.net. It says : error 3 , log in information is incorrect ... But for certain , i knew that the log in information is correct. Having this same trouble since i first bought and downloaded the game few days ago....
Can anyone help me ? Would appreciate a reply from blues please and thanks.

I am having this same error. On both my laptop, and my roommate's computer (who has the same error).

I have tried all suggestions from blue post link and I have deleted my cache file and restarted.
I even changed the password on my battle.net account.
Still the same error.
I would very much like to know what the problem is if anyone could chime in.

ERROR 3 SOLVED on my PC: DIGITAL VERSION
Hey Guys,
I solved "error 3" myself. You need a friend and or another computer.

1. Change your Battle.net password
2. Log into Diablo 3 game from ANOTHER COMPUTER using your account. (I had a friend do it). Then log out
3. OPTIONAL: Change your password back if you wish, i did.

This is where is gets strange ...
4. Log into Diablo 3 on your pc with ANOTHER account, it seemed to re-sync battle.net on my machine ... it would not work until i did this. I still got 'error 3' - incorrect info.
5. Now Log into Diablo 3 with your account. Fixed it for me.

This also fixed the Not being able to trade (grayed out or player busy) issue & The public chat channels being unusable.

What if yu dont have a friend and still want to play? How solve error 3 then?

ive been having the same problems, have tried the suggestions from the blue comment. The new user thing worked once but no longer works, even tried creating a third admin and still not working.

I don't know if you suggested this but, my problem was I changed my e-mail address and completely forgot about it. So my login information was different. Stupid mistake but I bet it happens to some people. Hope it helps.

it doesnt work for me either and i tried alll the things in the help even asked my firend to do the 2 computer thing

I've run into the same problem, and I don't have another computer that I would be able to try logging in on. I can connect to the Asia server just fine, but when I try to connect to the Americas, I just get error 3. Don't have a windows computer or authenticator, either, so I'm not quite sure what else to do.
