There seems to be a pretty good community developing here, lead by guys like Chensta and Feartec amongst others who are quite altruistic.
Most of us - myself included - are either too low or too lazy (in my case both!) to get around to doing 'stuff' to make our community better. So I thought that something like this might help. **** My idea is that if you have an item that you've outgrown, don't intend on selling on the AH... but feel that someone might find useful, then post it here. It doesn't need to be brilliant stuff, just items that will possibly help someone else.
Low level, anything: if you found it useful chances are someone else will too! **** If you're looking for something more specific, that too is ok. Leave your BTag with a brief summary of what you're giving away, and what (if anything) you're looking for. For example:

I'll have to check tonight, but I think I have a pair of level 9 rare items (carvers) that were great for my barb at low levels. I can't bring myself to AH/salvage them, but I could give them away to someone here... |

Seems like a good idea, I hope people don't exploit it here is a list of things up for grabs, first person to catch me ingame gets an item of there choice(that would be useful for them).

I was thinking that a thread like this could be really handy, but it's also kind of a pain for super lazy people (like me) to update/maintain with details of each item ;)
What about making it into a list of BTags with AU/NZ players who'd be willing to give away/swap items? Brief summary of what you're giving away, and what (if anything) you're looking for. For example:

Hey, this is a cool idea.
I often come across items that i don't think would sell that well or i couldn't be bothered selling myself - for example, mid 50's stuff with main stat + vit + some other small bonus that isn't lots of all resists - so i just stash them, and hand them out to the first person i come across in a public game that looks like they could use the upgrade. For that reason, i have an entire stash tab full of average, early-inferno level gear that i would be happy to give away to someone deserving. It's a bit of everything, so i can't really say i specialise in any type of gear... so maybe just add me to the list of people with "stuff" or something? Entry level inferno gear is probably the best way to describe it. Dragonfly#1941 |

Is this only for Max level gear ?
'cause I have yet to finish Normal (Yes m I suck at video games :P And have been busy with work and other related stuff :P) But I have a bank nearly full with yellow gear that I have yet to find a home for. EDIT : Looks like my stuff is way too low level for you guys.
I have yet to make my way through the higher difficulty levels and TBH some of the stuff was failed AH sale material anyway. So I'm withdrawing my contributions for the free item bank. Sorry folks!

I still got a few stuck in AH...... will stop putting them on there so if anyone wanna clean my up..... :P Also, we dont really need to give out battle tag in posts...... simply click on that orange name and a drop down will tell you wat the Btag of the person is. Unless theres a way to block that? Im not particularly looking for any item tbh....

Some don't have their battle tags up seansky... example: Bluspacecow. His goes to his WoW info.
Additionally, I'm hoping to make it easier for people to find folk (in the first post) who are generally readily available to give out stuff they don't need any more. Once they're tapped out - I can remove their Btag. And Bluspacecow - could you give us your battletag? Impressive stuff you have to give away! Oh... and thanks to all who vote this a sticky! Please continue to do so!
