We've just posted a blog titled Magic Find Gear Swapping that lays out a few solutions to how we could alleviate the need to carry around a separate MF set, while also ensuring you don't lose too much (or maybe any) of the benefit.

What about the option of having one button that allows you to switch into another set of gear? It doesn't have to be just for MF gear, but it switches out armor/weapons if you have two different setups.

Options 1 and 3 seem the best to me. If i had to pick, I would say a hardcap.

Why is the easiest solution not an option? Just give players the ability to equip a secondary gear set and like D2 W key will swap sets instantly? If you are not against gear swapping and players just think its little tedious just make it simple for players and profit.

None of the options. Keep MF the way it is and add a quick gear switch option.

Option 4 is the best out of all of these imho.

I personally don't like magic find gear swapping, but none of these solutions seem reasonable.
For the time being please leave the way magic find gear has been since D2. |

Option 1 or just remove the stat entirely.

Option 4 looks best to me. There should be a big penalty for switching to MF gear in combat.
