Hey guys!
I made a cover of Tristram a few months ago on the piano and wanted to share it. I'd appreciate it very much if I could get some thumbs up. It would help getting visibility from blizzard employees. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8x-EafHMnvk There's the link. I've also recently composed a piece dedicated to our beloved Treasure Goblin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qehx-myyeCo Hope you guys like these! Also to all my fellow video game lovers, I do have a little additional eargasm to offer you ;) A medley of some of the video games I used to play as a kid. It's entitled "Nerdy Nostalgia": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZi1gHEEdE8

I logged in just to say how awesome that is (assuming you're the one playing)

Yes I am. I play music for a living. My youtube channel has pretty much all my piano-only compositions (or covers/arrangements) |

Awesome! It takes me right back to the first game and makes me feel good again.

I'd rather listen to that than any track in D3. But that's not saying much.
Still, great job! D1 had my second favourite score from any Blizzard game, behind Starcraft Brood War. Where did you get the Sad Goblin song? Did you write it yourself? Because it's amazing. EDIT: Never mind that last question. I decided to become literate and actually read your post.

fantastic!
at first I wasn't sure it wasn't the original playing until I listened a little more and could tell it was piano. |

Amazing.

Beautiful, very well done.

Beautifully done!
That was amazing. |

Awesome job, how do you create those echo effects in the piano? Or is there some post-processing you're doing?
|
|
|
Unlike my goblin piece(and everything else on the channel), I played the Tristram cover on an electronic keyboard and added an echo effect to keep the "feel" of the original. The rest is all played on a Steinway & Sons model B.
