So.. I just found out that people can find out the properties of UnID items BEFORE EVEN IDing them!!
First, you know the options of the items are determined when they are dropped, not when they are IDed. This involves using the codes (backspacing while item is linked on the chat screen, which will prompt the item codes to be visible) to identify whether the options you are looking for (sockets, LoH) will be present in the item. This leaves room to scam people, and I don't have to tell you how this will be done. Get rid of this, or do not condone UnID item trading at all. More disappointment...

The only "exploits" I ever found was "ID your items and Bnet decides to terminate your session". Your items are now unID once again and you can sell those you know are bad...
But that doesn't happen very often. |

Just have a blue item with the stats you want (say strength and socket) and find the code to that.
Now, compare the code to the UnID rare weapon to see if it has the properties that you want. Makes sense? |
