Diablo® III

What is so mighty about Mighty Weapons?

Just curious what is actually "mighty" about a mighty weapon compared to a regular weapon.

Anyone have a clue?

Well, they are restricted to barbarians so they have less AH value that other weapon drops...I would say that is mighty....disappointing.

That's a visual reason why the mighty weapons should actually be mighty, but they're not.

At all.

I’m sure those ceremonial knives are useful for other things, too. Whittling, for instance.

A hero’s got to have hobbies.

The mighty items are the only ones capable of +Max Fury.

wizard hats don't do a whole lot for wizards other than looking sweet.

the only stats they roll with any regularity is +X to max arcane power and arcane regen.

it would be tight to see a hat roll something like "reduced/no cooldown on teleport"

The "Mighty" part of mighty weapons is referring to the volume of your disappointment after ID'ing.

Why do blues rarely talk about the game and improvements or stating they are actually listening to the suggestions made in the 100's of constructive feedback threads?

Mighty weapons are more likely to have barbarian friendly stats.

Personally, i'd like to see a "Mighty Weapon" have a higher damage % allowable than a normal weapon. If the max rare non mighty can go to 50% additional damage, then the mighty weapon could be like 60%. Wishful dreams though. I have yet to see a mighty weapon roll than trusts a standard rare roll.

*whitles a wooden kitty voodoo doll for Vaeflare*

Also, the wood chips from the whitling make great kindling for our sacrificial fires for brewing our headshrinking concoctions
