If I had made as big a mistake in my job, as Jay Wilson has made with Diablo 3, I would have been fired long ago. To completely destroy a game franchise with questionable decisions, is unconscionable. Obviously, he was not a Diablo fan, and doesn't understand why the players enjoyed this game over others. First, you kill off Deckard Cain. Simply, not acceptable. Next you develop a portion of your game for "elite" players. So in other words, the casual player, who actually has a job, a wife and children, and a regular life, is not expected to be able to play in Inferno mode. Oh, and buy the way, all the good loot (what the game is really about), is only in Inferno. So, you are telling me that I still pay full price for a game you don't even expect me to be able to play past the 75% mark, and I'll never get the good equipment to do it, unless I can play in Inferno. You see the conundrum, Not good enough without the good loot, but you're not ever going to be "elite" enough of a player to do so. That means you've kept about 80 to 90% of your customers ( because how many truly elite players are there) from utilizing all of the game we purchased. I wonder how many people have quit already, and how many have demanded their money back.n If I were CEO, I would demand Mr. Wilson's resignation, and then set about fixing the mess he has made. Alienating customers never seemed like a good business model to me, but what do I know, I've just been playing Diablo since the original came out. Mr. Wilson, you should resign, so the problems you helped create do not reappear, and can be resolved as quickly as possible.

To kill Cain is acceptable, but it was done terribly, and without much thought. He crewmen died in act 1 inside of the town not against the forces of hell but by the wizard of oz good witch's butterfly (someone was high on mescaline) attacks.
