They told us when the patch was a long time ago. Last week of August. Please learn to read (Systems Preview post). If you want an exact date, it's not really all that important until we approach the last week of August.

Farming are going to reborn. More revenue for bliz is coming soon. More content will be added to this game. 1.04 is in a right direction.

so let me guess, you hold shift and press attack , hoping it will shoot something out at the goblin , giving him x seconds of free run time?

Puzzle Ring (Ring) - This ring gives heroes a chance to summon a Treasure Goblin when they’re hit. The tooltip will be something along the lines of: "This ring sometimes calls forth a Treasure Goblin when you are hit."

This is awesome, and will make craziness for anyone who finds this ring in hardcore> good lcuk to those of you who find it in hardcore. But nonetheless thats awesome

The Butcher’s Sickle (1h Axe) – This item will now give players a chance to cast the Butcher’s sickle attack, dragging enemies to them. The tooltip should read something along the lines of: “X% chance to drag enemies to you when attacking.”

also this is awesome

The effects from Legendary procs will not damage other friendly members of your party. There are quite a range of proc effects we’ve added, and while some share similar visual effects with monster affixes, we tried to ensure that there was a visual distinction as much as possible. Also, there are quite a number Legendary procs that haven’t been discovered yet, and many are rather … interesting.

Take, for instance, this lovely ring:

Puzzle Ring (Ring) - This ring gives heroes a chance to summon a Treasure Goblin when they’re hit. The tooltip will be something along the lines of: "This ring sometimes calls forth a Treasure Goblin when you are hit."

…I bet that will prove to be entertaining during a boss fight. ;)

Possible exploit: Get a tank, give him the ring, put him in the middle of a lot of white trash mobs, farm infinite goblins.

I hope there's a limit to the power of that ring.

so uhm..wait wait let me see
1. Im a melee i don't have ranged abilities because my build is for melee's and wen the mob gets away i don't hit hit anymore i don't or can't get it proc ofc since i don't hit that mob because he is away...
it procs wen he is in melee already? ehm...DOH?

2. I am a ranged...i like mobs to not hug me...Omg i just dragged the mob to me because of that proc and i got killed...

Did you just invent that legendary? or you actually thinking to put in game such atrocity no logic making item?

LoL you idiot. . . why would you have an melee wep equipped on a range class?

"We wiped on the butcher today because 3 goblins spawned and everyone chased a diferent target. All 3 got away." lol, it actually does sound fun though.

Well, perhaps you or one of your friends could offer the Butcher a piece of your mind by using one of his special attacks against him!

The Butcher’s Sickle (1h Axe) – This item will now give players a chance to cast the Butcher’s sickle attack, dragging enemies to them. The tooltip should read something along the lines of: “X% chance to drag enemies to you when attacking.”

I suspect such an item would, at the very least, be appealing when chasing down those rogue Treasure Goblins. ;)

It's dps will be too low for inferno goblins...
All the fun items won't have any use in Inferno, not past ACT1 anyways.

The item needs to be changed, only procs when character dies - ergo out of their backside - and all the items worn by that character are then placed in the Treasure Goblin's bag. Good luck on recovery!

On that hellrack post, if I actually played after 1.04 I would be using Multishot runed with Fire at Will, or simply give that thing to my Scoundrel with his 3 shoot skill.

That's a super ridiculous affix. Even if there was a "strategy" involved with such an item, it would have to have to have a super low proc rate at best. And even if there was some such strategy that would make it useful, you'd have to nerf what goblins drop in the first place. This is not what we're really looking for to make the game more interesting...

Speak for yourself. This is exactly something I as well as many others would like to see in the game. It adds random fun to your runs. Blizzard could hand you 500 dollars and you'd complain that it wasn't 501 dollars.

For example your in the middle of killing some elites then BAM goblin spawn. Now you're trying to get the goblin as well as kill the elites. Sounds like a lot of fun to me.

Sounds fun but I can actually see ranged classes crying foul at this possibly. Since melee classes are meant to be able to withstand hits and get hit a lot more than ranged, giving them a better chance that the ring will proc.

Then don't get it ?

Also, about the Butcher's Sickle, if it behaves exactly like the Butcher's attack, it will also stun the enemy. Stun effect is always nice :)

Yea but It isn't fair if melee get free goblins an ranged don't

Oh for the love of..I hope you are being sarcastic.

Does every single Legendary have to be usable by every class. Guess you are really annoyed at those ones offering skill buffs to specific classes.

Terrible ring for ranged we are not ment to be hit that don't seem very fair to dh wd an wiz

Because they wont possibly make a ring that would be usefull to say DH/WD/WIZ and worthless to a BARB...

Or ...

Maybe...

(Speculating Here...)

More speculating...

Back on topic?

ok...

Maybe they did and they didn't put a preview of it... to make it more of a surprise, and they like your complaining.
