I play limbo when I'm sick of D3, and don't want to roll over to one of my other usual games. The controls are simple, the puzzles are satisfying and the autosave points are numerous enough, but the real reason I keep playing it is because I love it artistically. The sound is great, and I'll just say that there's a reason that it's received so much attention. Pick it up on Steam.
Limbo is very good, but short. I got it on a Steam sale, so I consider it a great purchase.
Bastion is just amazing. Amazing art, amazing music, amazing narration - all around a very memorable game. I would definitely recommend it.
I have not played Trine 2.
Just picked up Trine 2 from gamers gate for about $3.75
Played only briefly, maybe an hour or so. I will likely continue to play it, but it's one of those games to me that I enjoy in very short times of play, maybe an hour at a time then not touch it for a couple weeks, then play for an hour or so.rw4
I've enjoyed both Limbo and Bastion. Played a bit of the first Trine but it just didn't hook me.
Limbo I loved if for nothing more than the art style. The game is short, but for the price it was well worth it. Bastion has one of the best game soundtracks ever
