I have rarely seen a game where there were so many hidden game dynamics.

Then you have a very limited RPG experience. Go play dungeon defenders, they explain absolutely nothing to you and every shred of it is insanely important to your long term success, so wiki's are mandatory.

I agree with Katai. I'm getting tired of the info trickle. How many years will this go on for?

Good to know but still a very minor effect. It would be like +20 exp per kill max on follower meh lol and leoric signet on follower 30% / 5 = 6% more exp. Not really worth it.

Follower +exp gear affects your character sheet +exp bonus. It's only a hidden game mechanic if the character sheet is not correct, e.g. life steal.

Why would they need to put that in the patch notes? Exp boosts from followers' gear is not something new to the patch.

It's silly that it's not listed on the follower's stat display. However, I do gain +3.6 exp from what's on Kormac's relic when I use him. I notice the gain because otherwise I have 0.

No kidding. Not only was almost everything hidden, but what was displayed was invariably an utter lie. About the only number you could be sure of was your level.
