Graphic lag after 1.0.4 patch / FPS DROPS

Bump... same issues on rakkis crossing.. rediculous 112 fps drop to 8fps.. are you serious? Brand new video card.. Get this fixed ASAP..

Honestly... wtf. I used to run with max settings in game and with enhanced 32x CSAA + 8x supersample transparency turned on in NVIDIA control panel. Ran so smooth with full party games, now its a slide show @ the crossing

Same problems as everyone. FPS drops from 120 to 20 when im in public games with 4 people in heavy battles.
I do not play since november/december, and this fps drops didn't happen before.

Pc specs:
i5-2500k @ 4.2ghz
SSD ocz vertex 3 120gb
8gb ram
HD5830 1gb @ 1000/1100mhz

seems similar to that one. do you experience this issue more times in the same game? or just the first time you go outside town?

This same thing happened to my friends game after the last patch. We tried everything to fix his stuttering/fps issues. What I did see was alot of people changing options in the D3pref.txt file that helped a little. So I had him just delete that file so it would rebuild the file the next time he started his game, and for him it fixed his problem. Might give that a try and see if it works for you guys. The file is in your document folder->diablo 3->D3pref.txt Just delete it. Good luck

Yeah, We just tried it last night and his prob apparently was because of a conflict in his settings. I knew it wouldn't help everyone, but it may help a few. Wish you the best of luck with your prob tho :)
