Looking for someone to help me advance to next level. I am 78 and not a hard core gamer and only play games I like such as Diablo, Skyrim, etc. I can hold my own against most enemies (and Bosses). I am a Barbarian at level 53 trying to kill Diablo in the Nightmare level. Also looking for someone to help with crafting of new weapons and armour and I am not quite sure what people are taling about with things like "Tornado", etc. Thanks...
Hi there. I haven't played my barbarian that high yet, but my monk is 52. I found on diablo a lot of it was about running away; however my blind helped a lot, and a little run speed to run away from the big circles of fire if I couldn't watch where the fireball was moving towards. Run speed helps a lot with avoiding the black trap things as well. Use potions whenever you are trying to save a different cooldown, since I think they have a longer cooldown so by the time you've used a potion and then had to use a healing cooldown spell another potion should be ready to use. Possibly a little more gear might help; I know I spent a few thousand gold on some better weapons and that almost doubled my dps on my monk and gave her an extra couple thousand life. Make sure you have some kind of spell or two that helps heal you and/or absorbs damage, some kind of mitigator that brings your health back up or doesn't let incoming damage take it down - so you aren't relying on the health potions or the health cauldrons completely. I like setting my monk up so that she uses an attack that regenerates spirit, because then I pair it up with talents that mean that when I spend spirit in turn, that heals me for a portion of what I spent.
I personally think the blacksmith can be a waste of time and gold, when you can save up gold and then look on the auction house for an item that already has exactly what you are looking for, without having to hope that the randomness of the crafting works in your favor.
