You don't necessarily have to comment, you just have to be inside a thread.
Still pretty inconvenient "improvements" XD

EDIT: The other way to get around this is save the link (add to favorites) of your "Posts Profile" in your browser. It will be more convenient than what we had back then.

The fastest way to do it is just click CREATE THREAD you don't actually have to create one though once there your name will be accessible with the arrow :)
Alternatively there is the v arrow next to your name next to the Quick Reply.

Please everybody join me in a standing ovation for Blitztard.
Once again your tom-foolery and pointless renditions never cease to amaze.

It's so sad that even the forum UI is subject to unnecessary nerfs no one asked for.

Moderators: We've had 1,000 people use the My Posts Button, I think they're liking it.
Jay: Nerf it, I never use it anyway.

This proves two things about the community.

1) They will complain about absolutely anything.
2) They will complain without even fully understanding it.

An excellent case study.

Really?

They are complaining about the removal of a function which now makes viewing post history inconvenient. While it still exists at all, it is otherwise less user friendly to access.

Are you kidding? Now we need to post something to find our own posts?

The drop down could easily be a client side script with a simple link to our forum archives. Quit being NOOB programmers. You can easily put all this work on the client. Are you kidding ...

We are addressing the functionality which makes finding your own posts more tedious then before.

I gave up on them grasping why it is inconvenient and just made a bookmark to my post history page.

It's silly that I have to do it, but it's more efficient.

the only reason i can think of they would want to do this is that: eliminate some traffic!

if its very easy for you to track / follow your own threads, you would most likely continue to engage in the pointless pissing match that 99% of the posts are about. if its harder, maybe 10% of the users would just let it go.

its actually a sound solution, except everyone is now more pissed, and posting here!

what's next? firehose everyone? riot police?

Why was this ever changed except for the sake of inconvenience?

just use url, it is faster

http://us.battle.net/d3/en/search?f=post&a=[fill in your id]&sort=time

for example
MaxiRAoK#3589 fill in MaxiRAoK%233589
%23 is '#'

like this
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/search?f=post&a=Lylirra&sort=time
