Hey guys, I'm currently running the Asus GTX550ti and I want to switch over the Radeon and need help deciding. I had the HD4650 512mb prior to purchasing this video card and I think i truly like radeon better then nvidia. So I want to switch back over. Any suggestion would help.
My PC SPECS:
AMD phenom 9500-quad core 2.2ghz
450w power supply
Anyone running the HD7770 or HD6850?
I currently have a Radeon HD 6970 and it's been very good over the past year, not a lot of computer stores sell these anymore ( in Australia anyway) but I would recommend one, I can play just about any game on 1920 x 1080 with full graphical settings without dropping below 60 FPS.
My friend also bought a 7970 a couple of days ago and he said it works like a dream compared to his gold nVidia 560ti.
Even tho you might not need to you might want to upgrade your power supply to something 550w +, if you use a GPU and it isn't getting the correct voltage it can destroy them pretty quickly.
