Diablo® III

Just played diablo 2 after 12-14 years

Holy crap that game was ahead of its time....playing diablo 3 feels like diablo 1.5 now except for the graphics...

To fix diablo 3 they'll need runes...better itemization perks etc....god damn

As if diablo 2 was released 14 years ago. Not even talking about the state it is in right now.

ITT: Some retard that has no idea what Diablo 2 was like on release day.

The thing is, it worked fine.

There was no 'release day' patch culture, etc. I didn't even know patches were available for it until LoD came out, and I didn't play online until a couple of years later.

The problem with D3 of course, was Error 37.

And all the other crap.

This is before the gameplay issues of course....

Diablo 2 was ahead of its time.. diablo 3 is 4 years behind its time and owned by one of the greediest corporations in the video game industry..

Diablo 3 will never be anywhere near as great as its predecessors

You want games like diablo? i suggest you move on to runic games

This is coming from a guy who played diablo 2 pre LOD and a lot more over the past year and after d3's release

I remember it being a stable/enjoyable experience like many. The solo experience was just fine, don't purely judge the game on it's online component,it's silly.

All I know is that finding items was actually enjoyable in that game.

Thats all that needs to be said.

I do.

Diablo II on release day was one of the most fun games of all time.
Diablo III on release day didn't work. Period.

6 months after release day, Diablo II was amazing, and easily amongst the best games ever made.
Nearly 6 months after release day, Diablo III is the most disappointing sequel of all time. No exceptions.
