12/01/2012 09:20 PMPosted by Quatch
Kieble - I am really excited to try out your DPS/EHP calculator, but every time I try to load my hero, nothing happens. I am getting "error on page" at the bottom of my browser (IE8). Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you in advance.

quick fix for that is download firefox or chrome.

I don't have IE8 but I tried with IE9 and did not have a problem to load a character.

I did however noticed that the text in the different boxes is cut.

Updates:
Set Items should now de-select if you select a higher or lower set number. IE you can't chose Nat's 2 set and 3 set at once.

Enchantress Bug Fixed.

Current bugs:
IE Cuts off input boxes - However, as i don't have access to a machine with IE currently, i'm gonna put this on the back burner till I do.

As long as nothing up arises today, I should be pushing this new version live this afternoon.

Thanks everyone for the nice comments! Been a lot of hard work but looks like it's finally in a finished state, haven't gotten any suggestions in a while!

Kieble, something odd happened with my EHP figure:

Since the new format, my EHP # has dropped roughly 80-90k (as compared to the "other site"). The only thing I've changed since then is my ammy.

I know when I compared the two stats before they were off (as you explained to me about monster ilvls), but now they're waayyyyy off. I'm leaning to the number on the other site, because I can take a hit from a fallen and not die, so I know the # on DP is more correct now than yours.

It's not a big deal, as I still use your site to compare numbers before I buy any new gear, but do you have any idea as to why this is happening?

Kieble! Always love your EHP DPS Calc! Helped alot with decision making.

Might I suggest you add it Life on Hit too to the stats?
Quite surprise that it is missing and it is 1 of the main elements for survival now a days.
Shouldnt LOH be factor into EHP too or into the calc?

Overall, great job as always!

Many thanks!

Peace

oo nice one, just saw this thread for the first time?

just one question, can it automatically calculate the correct dps from the elemental dmg?
i.e. zuni boots, trium, tr ammy, etc

cos i've been using this site, got the link from the wiz section ages ago.

imo its great but you need to add in the ele dmg in manually :(

@Aw3s0m0: the elemental damage is calculated automaticaly. There is a field dedicated for that in the relevant boxes. Jut put in the % value and click calculate to get the new stats

@Peace: I'm sure he could add the total LoH to the general stats but I don't think it can actually be used to calculate EHP since each skill have a different return. The EHP wouldn't be relevant.

@Addicted: I compared my EHP to D3up.com Calc and receive the exact same EHP value on both. Did you make sure you didn't have more skill/bonus selected on one of the 2 sites?

Is eph really that hard to calculate?

I mean, the game gives you your in-game mitigation % values and you just divide your health by those right?

I removed the Dodge EHP in the most recent calculations becasue so many people were complaining they didn't like Dodge being a part of it. If you noticed a big drop, scroll to the bottom of the page and hit "Dodge" and hit calculate. Your dodge will now be added in and you'll see the old number you did before. Sorry if that's an inconvenience, i've had a lot of arguments going both ways on it and it's hard to please everyone.

@Aw3s0m0 - Just as Azliet said, there is already an elemental section in there that calculates the exact DPS from your black weapon.

I think the game gives you EHP based on lvl 60 monsters... not sure though.

LOH actually doesn't affect your EHP at all. EHP is the amount of dmg you can take at any current time. IE with 250k EHP you can take up to 250k in game damage before you will die.

LOH only provides EHP returns. Now what I had talked about before is doing a calculation of how much EHP LOH returns, IE Figure out how much 1 hp is in EHP and then multiply it by your LOH and you'd get Your LOH = X EHP per hit. That's about the only thing I could do with it.

This is correct. EHP in game is set vs lvl 60 monsters. So it'll be ~1% off depending on scaling for each stat. Adds up the more stats you add (IE dodge, passive, block, etc.)
