What exactly do you get NV from now?

I was messing around in act 1 and when I killed Headcleaver and rescued cain I didn't get a NV stack. Aren't major events suppose to give NV now?

Kulling elite whatever, no NV anymore. When im in group no problem. But Solo dont give me NV?!?! Why? |

This is weird. The events in the fields of misery give NV but rescuing Cain doesn't? Headcleaver is and elite. It just seems like events and some quests should give NV. This might make act 4 a little more appealing.

Most events with Elite monsters don't give NV stacks.

Rescuing Cain isnt considered an event because its the main story line.
so what are events? events are the ones under your achievements ---> campaign. |
