I killed a guy once called Data Miner, the description was something like "bringer of spoils". I liked.

Really fun reading this thread. I'm going to try and give more thought to some of the legendary items and uniques I find...

Sadly, I think I may have found Tasker and Theo and sold them on the AH. So glad I don't go there anymore.

even though they are not the greatest weapon for monks, I still love throwing Hadokens and use them for the love of it, lol.

Shenlong: Street Fighters' Ruy's supposed master...

Shenlong wasn't Ryu's master in Street Fighter, it's just a translation made in something he said in the original Street Fighter 2.

Ryu's master was another named Gouken.

Great thread, I didn't realize there were so many easter eggs. I did find myself in the Fowl Lair once and also caught a few of the Dune references. The item names are fun, reminds me of the unique dirk in D2 called The Diggler.

There are 4 mini unicorns in Whimsyshire that are named after the women from team unicorn.

R'Lyeh - Rileah Vanderbilt

I think that's more of a Cthulhu reference.

"In his house at R'lyeh, dead Cthulhu waits dreaming."
