MP1 to me will always be the best... even if you're godly geared.

Use all the best mobility skills: Archon with teleport, Storm armor with scramble.

Get hit on purpose to gain 3 seconds of speed, use it to run passed the mobs and fire backwards.

Wear hellfire ring and signet while still dropping elites in just 2 or 3 seconds.

no need to fire backwards, storm armor one shots them.

True, but meant more in high density mobs.

OP, is this data just from one run? I found keep 2 to be the most consistent area in terms of xp per clear (about 4 mil). Other areas seem to have much bigger variance.

Going by your data, most efficient run would be one of these IMO:

rakkis > areat 2
rakkis > areat 2 > areat 1
rakkis > areat 2 > areat 1 > keep 2
rakkis > areat 2 > areat 1 > keep 2 > skycrown

Getting 5 stacks first is probably inefficient. Why? Because you can get them in rakis which yields more exp in the process. No reason to run other areas at all, specially now with 93% base exp bonus on mp2.

From my personal tests, the most efficient and consistent route was simply rakis > keep2 (get the 5th stack in keep3 if you don't get it in rakis), about 6 mil exp per run that takes me about 8 mins.

Another factor that should be considered is area difficulty. Easier routes (keep 2) may enable us to run on higher mp then a more standard alkaizer run.

I don't know I'm still running Alkaizer's route I think cutting out the lower areas is worth starting over and doing the high density areas the whole time. I've planned on figuring out my xp/time spent but haven't gotten around to it yet...

edit* Also if it weren't for Reflect Damage I could be running on mp3 and not be slowed down at all, but dying slows me down too much to be worth it -.-

Disagree on the getting 5 stacks in Rakkis. By the time you get 5 stacks 90% of the map will be cleared where you could have gotten that 5 stack XP from those mobs. Getting 5 stacks in the other specified zones has way less mob density and easy access to elites. Definitely worth it.

Huge props to Shelendil for showing me how to do Keep2 properly, i'm now more adept at spotting the 'square', and thus my xp/sec has gone up on keep2 runs.

HOWEVER, my data shows it's still on par with crater2 or crater1 at best.

You are definitely killing more , and the zone is huge, so you get the illusion that keep2 is best, but the xp shows otherwise, this is prbably due to the fact that mobs are worth less xp in the keeps. Same reason why keep1/3 runs are abysmal.

Moreover, my rating on Fields of Slaughter has gone up, to almost same lvl as rakkis and skycrown. I've shorten my run to just make a circle, trick is to not reach the 'edge' of zone. Let the mobs come to you, dont chase after them, and dont try to kill everything in the zone.

Here's more supporting data:

keep2 105217 107993 2776 180 15.42
keep2 11383 15370 3987 240 16.61
crater1 31636 33057 1421 90 15.79
keep2 33057 35782 2725 145 18.79
crater2 36917 39474 2557 135 18.94
keep2 48396 51911 3515 210 16.74
crater2 51911 54261 2350 170 13.82
crater1 54261 56083 1822 70 26.03
fields 58661 61445 2784 150 18.56
keep2 64889 68029 3140 190 16.53
crater1 68029 69643 1614 90 17.93
crater2 69643 72968 3325 180 18.47
fields 75675 78689 3014 190 15.86

one suggestion for your supporting data, change decimal places to 1 for the last column, cos its much easier to read n compare.

I'm still extremely new to Wizards and Archon. I played the AH game last night while trying to sell my amulet and I picked up a new chest/gloves. I played for a little over an hour trying to get runs down.

I did MP2 runs as fast as possible and I leveled 2.5 paragon ~31-33M exp. (from PL 4.2 to 6.7) I'm still extremely bad at finding an appropriate route. I'm at 239K DPS buffed and feel that MP3 is viable, but in switching to TR chest, I lost lots of AR. I'm a bit squishier than I was before. RD on MP3 sucks. So, MP2 it is.

I'll have to equip a hellfire for a while to increase my exp.

Thanks for the thread again!

edit: I wanted to brag, I sniped a perfect 6,6,6 trium with 54 int socket in general chat for 1.5M last night. it's equipped.

Does anyone know if storm armor shocking aspect works while in archon? I'd assume so, just haven't tried it.
