I have a hard time with the Act II warden as well. Not sure why, but he doesn't like to give me keys.
Act I and Act II wardens drops keys for me all the time, even on MP 2-3....
There is definitely something going on. I used to make quick MP5 runs and average my 50% drop rate. I bumped it up to MP7, which takes twice as long and really isn't worth the extra 20% chance... after 10 runs I still have NO key. I got so frustrated that I did MP10 in act 2 and about 2 hours later finally got the stupid key. Of course I also died about a dozen times and once I killed an elite with just 2 minutes to spare before losing the valor stacks. I am very interested in what the new drop rates are, because my friend is reporting the same phenomenon in the last few days. I'm not buying the bad luck theory.
OK, there you have it, MP10 should be 100% chance (as long as you had the 5 stacks of valor) yet you didn't get one. This proves there's something wrong. Blizzard made a post that they have not made any changes to the drop rates but admit the possibility of a bug they're not aware of. It seems that this bug has affected a large number of players, although not everybody, making it that much harder to identify. This happened after the latest AH update, so it might have something to do with it.
Yeah I think this started for me after the latest AH patch too.
I'm ready to give up running for h keys as I have done it for 2-3 days solid with NOTHING.
I can get unlucky but not that bad!
I also feel like Legendaries have been affected too? Anyone else feel this way? I haven't seen one drop in a long time.
PS. My friends and I did ubers. 1 game was MP5 and my friend got 0/3 organs.
Then next game was MP6 and that same guy got 0/3 organs again.
Does that not seem a bit f'kd?
Of course it's hard to prove when you're dealing with drop chances but currently it appears that The Keys of Terror and of Destruction drop about three times as often as the Key of Hate.
My total number of runs may not yet be high enough to be sure but I'd say it's definitely below the expected drop rate.
It would be nice if some Dev could actually check the friggin' code to verify the chance is as high as it's supposed be.
