Unfortunately, my laptop's video card died right in the middle of a session of Diablo 3. I can't locate the exact video card to replace it with, so I will have to downgrade for now. I checked the unsupported video card list and did not see the new card listed.
The game ran brilliantly with the old specs. Would someone mind reviewing the new video card and give me an idea of what kind of performance hit I'm likely to take (or even if the game will run, so I don't needlessly purchase a worthless GPU)?
New video card: GeForce 8800 GTX 512MB
Old specs and video card:
Intel Core 2 Duo E8500 3.13GHz
4GB 800MHz - (2x2048MB)
GeForce 9800M GTX 1GB
Western Digital 320GB 7200RPM
8x DL DVD+-RW
