in Diablo 3, while i am playing, interactive objects flicker, almost always when i hover over them.

i don't know the cause of it, and tried many different ways to solve it. none worked. it started when patch 1.05 got live.

this...flickering is VERY aggravating, as it makes the game look horribly unstable or so badly designed it cant even be seamless.

i once thought the cause was me playing 1.05 before the download was complete, but it was proven false when i reinstalled it over and over, and its still present.

it seriously limits my ability to play this game, because i cant stand it.

i have tried other methods, such as driver rollback, and reducing graphics, to no effect.

if it matters at all, im using an SSD hard drive.

Alright. but i have not updated the Video drivers from that rollback i did. theres no change between the two anyway.

so... no idea on fixes?

I am having the same issues since the patch : ( Screen changes the brightness when the mouse is hovering over an item oder npc. Terrible screenflickering -_-

it does not work. i even fiddled around with the Nvidea settings, turning off everything i can. so, in short, nothing works. best i can hope is that the next patch somehow fixes it.

it might even be a bad integration of MPQ files, because i played the game before the download was finished.

Had same problem Updated to the new driver solve it for me.

i disabled AA on both the Control Panel and in game, i disabled other functions in the Control Panel as well, i used the driver version you provided, and i even manually reset the settings in Diablo 3.

none of them works. its quite obvious by now that it is not an AA issue, rather a problem that i cant identify, and found ONLY in diablo 3.

I'm not sure if tis actually flickering it only does so once, when i hover over something, and doesn't do it again, for some time. if i had to guess it looks as if the game was a bit sluggish on loading stuff.

i just tested this to see if it works being i have been having a flickering prob with buttons and things as well. it DOES work.

it is not an Anti aliasing problem, so the above doesn't work. i even tried it anyway, no change.

I don't understand. not even reinstalling windows fixes the issue. so far:

all of the AA solutions do not work.

reinstalling diablo 3 does not work.

reinstalling windows does not work.

using a legacy driver, a beta driver of my video card does not work.

therefore, by all possible logic it HAS to be an issue with diablo 3, or a hardware issue, which is unlikely at best, considering nothing else was affected.

i could live with it, but it would mean accepting a flaw that patch 1.05 somehow introduced.
