Now that gem prices have gone so high is it finally viable to craft gems for a profit, even if its a small one??
If anyone knows the answer please feel free to inform me. Thank you :D.
Also, Tomes of Secret will probably be the next thing to go up in price if the profitablity of gem crafting goes up, right?
I'm trying to figure if it would turn any profit and found some sites which can help like this one: http://www.diablo3gemcalculator.com/
But if I calculated it correctly, buying flawless square emerald and selling flawless star emerald would turn a profit of 50k each. So it wouldn't be very smart to sell.
Anyone can see if that's right? I'll try and see if selling radiant star emerald would turn the profit up.
Edit: found out that creating one radiant star would cost about 19 millions, and current sell price is about 20 millions and a half, though there's the 15% cut. So I think it still woudn't be worth it. :c What do you think?

Checked it, total gold cost of crafting one perfect square: 43,746
Current price of emerald perfect square: 49959
Again, there's the 15% cut. Still not that profitable. :c
I'll check starting with the worst quality now -q
Edit: would cost 240,000 starting at worst quality, and the perfect square costs 49,959 now. That's the worst result lol
