Diablo® III

Help, Lots of lag this past week!

Ok so ive been lagging alot lately since my internet went out last week. (new company working on lines) I guess they changed ownership and my internet is slightly slower now.

My statistics:

Internet: 6-7 Mbps (was 12) yea sucks here in the south lol
Graphics card: ATI Radeon 5800 series
CPU: Intel I7 @ 2.67
RAM: 6 Gigs

The computer components should be plenty to run this game at max, though i notice now I can change the settings and the games Latency lowers to 123, or if I leave at max its 300 (was 70 before internet).

SO my question is, is my internet really affecting me that much? or Do i maybe need to retweak game settings, or maybe I have a virus? (ran norton 360)

Same for me, the lag spike began past thursday and seems to end yesterday, sunday. During a lag, the ms ping drop from 115-135 ms (normal playable condition) to 300-1200 ms. So the game begin to freeze. This lag occured regulary while playing.

Hi !

I apologize for my english: is not very good!

I have the same problem for a week ... or more i think.
I tolked with other people that have same problem and they told me that this is a problem of american servers... My question is: Is a problem of diablo or not ? If there is a problem with diablo what they are doing to solve?

a lot of us are suffering because of lag this past week.. theres a lot of threads about LAG this week but still no response from blizzard. i think blizzard should do something about this. or maybe they dont care.

This is the most relevant topic I have found on the forums (from June 2012):

It seems like it's a problem with AT&T Enhanced Network Services (attens). The problematic attens host is and is likely co-located with Blizzard's servers in San Diego. Unfortunately, there are no scheduled maintenances in attens San Diego according to this page:

The only way I see this getting resolved is if Blizzard puts pressure on AT&T if they haven't already done so.
