Macksnow,

You only need to delete them as troubleshooting steps when you encounter errors possibly related to them. When it's stuck on initializing, it's an agent issue which is often resolved by deleting the agent files you currently have and letting the game acquire the latest again.

But no, it should not be necessary every time you want to play. If it is, there's a problem with your system, most likely a permissions issue or internet security app preventing the files from updating properly.

Macksnow ,

These two articles cover what we usually recommend deleting for troubleshooting agent and possible connection issues.
