Spec skill points. Every 2 para level you gain 1 spec point in which you choose to improve rune skills. In order to reset the skill points you have to hunt act bosses to obtain 3 essences each in order to craft a Skill Reset Token.

this.
!.) bring back skill points and skill trees from db2
2.)Bring back palidan buff charecter
3.)place able stats so it's not set every time you level
4.)Witch Doctor Zombie Dog effects that ariganoly was supposed to be added
5.)Obsticles that certain charecters could avoid by useing one of thier skills
6.)An exspantion pack
7.)more charector customization
8.)Bosses could be a little bit more challanging seriusly it was a massive dissapoint ment geting to the end of the game on normal just for me to kil diablo in like 5 min.
9.)i guess more goor and blood hiting the screan after you get a massecure Bonus would be cool i mean it is a rated M game you should at least make it one
10.)PvP
11.)More events like the jar of souls (I loved that one)
and this one is more of a complaint but "stop trying to farm our money we are not all WOW fans or have a whole lot of intrest in paying monthly fees to play a game that is why we bought diablo in the first place more or less so stop treating us like WOW fans and treat us like Diablo fans" pleas ignore this part of my list it's just a thought and i'm sorry if I affended you WOW fans
12.) Sense this game is also though battle net it would be nice to have festival events witch would be side qeasts put in for a limited time that could give you like a Festival item. Instead of a rare or legindary wizard hat you could get a Festival Santa hat at the end of a one or 4 part mini qeast this would be pritty cool
13.)Also weather should be implamented during festivals or just in general
new shrines for paragon 100 and only paragon 100's will get the bonuses in a party
You're never going to get skill trees back from D2, it's just not happening. You may get something vaguely similar, so start asking realistically.

You might, for instance, get imbuing back. I think imbuing would spice up the AH. Some new event/character that will imbue a weapon with a class-specific ability, or a shield with one of a set of values (high bonus rolls of say, vit, str, dex or int).

I'd suggest a new character class in the Expansion. "Risen" - a reformed Demon (maybe like the fire breathing dudes from A4), sort of like the opposite of a fallen angel or a corrupted angel.

I always find it interesting seeing what features appeal to each player and their different preferences and playstyles. Even in this thread alone, there are quite a variety of different answers and ideas and some of these are very much on our radar. We definitely appreciate the continued feedback, and aim to make Diablo III the best game it can possibly be. :)

Making Diablo III the best game it can possibly be is not that hard.
IMPLEMENT ALL mechanics in Diablo II and add more interesting mechanics.
But what did the developer team did? They scrapped everything that made D2 successful and come up with this garbage and call it diablo3.

It's funny you know looking at this thread, a lot of people want this and that. With so many wants and criticism in this forum some people (maybe even the design team) still thinks that the game is doing great.

Edited for grammar

"make Diablo III the best game it can possibly be. :)"

Possibly within the RMAH rules u mean ? Blizzard should accept the fact that the main problem of D3 is the RMAH philosophy. This game was build around the AH not otherwise and that´s why it sucks in the long run.

Add a new server with separate everything.
Call it Americas 2.
It would be like a ladder reset.
You could even give it special drops or bosses that only exist in new servers.

More events, more unique monsters, more caverns/dungeons that feel unique. I want more incentive to fully run an act. Areas need to compete for my love. I want to be able to scream "oh I effing love this place." and then face roll in it.

edit: I'd love to see more shrines too, as well as different shrines.

Shrines that trigger events, summon different types of monsters, shrines that fix your equipment, shrines that give potions, shrines that change the way you look (changes size or colour or something), shrines that summon temporary pets/escorts...

shrines would be more incentive to fully run an act.

A loading screen. You shouldn't have to have a solid state drive or a flash drive in order for the game to not stutter every time you load it up.

Path of Exile has this :). Including PVP hardcore servers and PVP softcore servers.
a toggle to turn off blue/white drops

Someone has been playing PoE.
I really don't understand why people want skill trees. They are pointless. All you are going to do is get on a website and copy and paste the "best" build. That's all anyone ever does and always will do. Unless they make the skill tree so vast and make many many viable options. If they don't do that then there is no point to a skill tree.
We don't need to turn Diablo 3 into something else. Lets ask for features that make the current game better. Sure they could still improve on Itemization and how it affects builds and hero, but no need to re-re-invent the wheel.

Super Random Endless Dugneon! Last Stand Mode! PvP that is way far away from Dueling/Arena style play.
Blizzard, don't listen to the people who want every single thing from D2:LoD ported into D3. If that is what you want, go play D2:Lod! It's still available. Or at least, give people the ability to mod D3, just like how SC2 can be modded.

That being said, I'd like to see druids, more gems, a dual wielding melee follower, a necromancer for a follower, followers to be more viable, a skill tree system implemented, the Mystic brought back, the old color-coded rune system brought back, better colored dyes, and maybe a co-op mode where you and the 4 players tackle multiplayer-only maps similar to MMO raids, but without the trinity system. And finally, a Alterac Valley BG kind of PvP would be sweet.

It's funny most of the things that you want are implemented in diablo2.
