I've been getting unbelievable lag mostly during elite packs for days now. It'll sit 220-290 in town, then while in combat it can spike to about 1000-4000ms and hangs for ages.

Yeah I'm getting huge lag spikes here too in Brisbane. It's fine until I get into any decent sized pack and then it just spikes wildly between 800-1400 ping. It's worse with friends in the game, I basically lock up, stop casting and die instantly (CM Wiz).

And of course, on Telstra Cable.

yeah, i have the same issue since patch day. before patch, i was on 180ms RTT. now 220ms RTT, sometimes 2000+ms. and bnet message advised me on disconnection with server.

at the same time i was pinging some public server in US sprint ISP, cannot see any spike nor drops.

and i noticed it's not happening to all players, i had the spike while my other Aussie friends had no issue.

i think the problem is with game client time to time. remember they put something in this patch to test something.

blue, any help?
