SIONG,

Please try the steps in the following two articles. I realize you may have already done it before, but I need to know you've done it now (again) before proceeding.

Same thing here since yesterday! I didn't actually reinstall the game because I was expecting for a simpler solution. However I tried the solutions proposed in the articles shown by Omrakos (I said that in another post here............) and nothing works!!
When you do the proposed solutions, it restarts the updating process, but it gets stuck again, so no solution at all until now...

I thought it really could be a corrupted file, but since there are people still playing, I'm not sure if it's something specific of some pcs that are interfering in the process somehow...

Anyway, SIONG, maybe instead of formating your drive, you could first try to restore your system to an earlier restore point, I mean, before you did the update to 1.0.6, don't know, just an idea

Well, still waiting though... :/

SIONG,

Try creating a new user account in Windows on your PC and add it to the administrators group. Then log out of Windows and back on with the new account and try the game again.

SIONG ,

I have no idea really based on your description. If a new user account worked, it would suggest a permissions issue with the folder or original account. You will likely be able to use the original account again though after you're done reinstalling

Having this issue right now. SIONG if you see this, can you play D3 on your main account now?
